The Ko\u0161ice Basin is one of the most important geothermal sites in Central Europe. <\/h2>\n

It is also the most promising area among the twenty-six identified geothermal regions in Slovakia suitable for energy utilization. In this region, Geoterm Ko\u0161ice, a.s. owns the most productive geothermal wells in the country.<\/p>\n

After the completion of the heat pipeline in 2026, the company will deliver clean energy to Tepl\u00e1re\u0148 Ko\u0161ice, a.s. (TEKO), which will subsequently distribute it through its own network and the network of Tepeln\u00e9 hospod\u00e1rstvo Ko\u0161ice, s.r.o. to seventy-eight thousand households in Slovakia\u2019s second largest city.<\/p>\n
